Program Description:

This program rehearses once a week in school. It will be split into 2 groups (Wednesday 4th-5th grade & Thursday 6th-8th Grade). Students will learn age appropriate popular and classic pop songs including Broadway and musical theater. We will focus on pitch, reading common rhythms in pop or musical melodies, performing techniques, singing in harmony, acting and dancing. We will also focus on the techniques & strategies needed to be a good soloist. The number of songs the students learn will vary according to the group and age of the students. We will also focus on choreography to bring the entire “show” together.
